Why this marketplace exists
Many remarkable products from the hills remain difficult to discover outside their place of origin. Pahad Ki Dukaan is being built as a focused marketplace where independent producers and sellers can present those products professionally without losing their regional identity.
We begin with food and agricultural products and may expand carefully into handicrafts, household goods and other locally relevant categories. Every expansion is intended to follow clear product, seller and customer-safety standards.
How the marketplace works
Pahad Ki Dukaan provides the digital marketplace, catalogue, checkout and support experience. Products may be offered by independent sellers. The seller shown on a listing remains responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, packing and fulfilment of that product, while the marketplace can review listings and assist with eligible disputes.
Technology, including assisted listing tools, may help sellers prepare product information. A listing is not approved merely because it was created with automation; sellers must verify claims and marketplace review may be required before publication.
What we are building toward
Our aim is a fast, accessible and useful marketplace—not a directory filled with copied listings. Better photography, clear specifications, traceable orders, practical support and fair seller participation are part of that standard.
